Repeat from 1 Equipment setup for characters: Weapon – H: Copper Sword, Y: Giant Mallet Armor – H: Leather Armor, Y: Boxer Shorts Helm – H: Leather Hat, Y: Leather Hat Shield – H: Leather Shield, Y: Leather Shield Items – H: 8x Medicinal Herb, Y: 8x Medicinal Herb Stats HP – H: 22, Y: 34 (use a Seed of life to raise from 30 to 34) Atk – H: 21, Y: 24 Def – H: 24, Y: 24 (use a Seed of Defense to raise Res from 7 to 9 giving Yangus 24 defense) Agi – H: 6, Y: 5 6 attempts before setup change (Hero could be 1 shotted due to 20 defense) 1 attempt to win (after getting Hero Leather Armor) The key here is 24 defense. Any less and Geyzer can one shot the Hero with his slashing claws attack. With 24 defense it does a maximum of 21 damage. Yangus can tank any combination of his attacks since he has enough HP to do it. Your chances of winning, believe it or not, are very high. You can take him out with both characters standing almost 100% of the time with this setup. And man Geyzer did not want to finish off the Hero… I was worried I’d have to try that again. Yangus gains 107EXP and levels up to lv4. The 3 skill points are put into Axes (?????). The party obtains 108G and a Seed of Strength. The Hero is also revived with half HP since he is needed in the cutscene after this fight.
