Im trying to grow medicinal herbs this season, but i’m impatient and want some useful medicinal herbs that will be useful in just one growing season, any ideas?

mint is good for stomach aches and has some other uses as well
smoking mint helps soar throats too
Go to: http://www.heirloomseeds.com and they have some very good medicinal herbs you can purchase in seed form. Also another great site where i buy mine is at: http://sweetcornorganicnursery.com/
These are both heirloom variety seeds that are not hybrids, so you can save the seeds and grow new ones for next year.

You can try the Ephedra, which is easy to propagate.
Ephedra sinica, a species of ephedra (ma huang), contains the alkaloids ephedrine and pseudoephedrine, which have been found to induce central nervous system stimulation, bronchodilation, and vasoconstriction. It has been used since ancient times to treat asthma, upper respiratory infections stuffy nose and watery eyes. In combination with caffeine, ephedrine appears to elicit weight loss.
