Can herbs such as catnip, cooking herbs (marjoram, thyme, savory, basil, etc.) and medicinal herbs be kept in?

… the freezer to preserve their potency? I can order them by the pound but don’t want to end up with ‘flat’ herbs…these are dried herbs by the way…thanks!
